Abstract: A natural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast based on the pulp of a fruit "Euterpe Oler&#225;cea", popularly known as A&#231;aí, was investigated. T1 and T2 contrasted images shown the effects of the contrast agent increasing the ability to visualize the contour of segments of the gastrointestinal tract.
