Abstract: A modifying effect is established of amaranth's corn on lipid composition of pancreas and skeletal muscles of quail - content of cholesterol goes down, the level of triacylglycerols and ethers of cholesterol rises, while the quantity of general lipids and correlation of their separate fractions in egg's yolk did not change substantially.
