Abstract
- The author has studied structural and functional particularities of the mammary gland against chronic toxic hepatitis. It was established that delay in the development of glandular epithelium and perialveolar connective tissue at the end to pregnancy and initial period of lactations, was expressed in: (a) morphologically in reduction in average amount of alveoli in segment and average quantity of the cells in alveolus; (b) cytometrically--in reduction of endoteliocytes and tissue immune and competent cells in perialveolar connective tissue and terminal secretor sections at the end of pregnancy and early periods of lactations. It can be reflected on qualitative and quantitative composition of milk and bring about insufficiency of the digestive and immune systems of next generation.
