Abstract: We report a case of severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome which developed in a patient after ovarian stimulation for in-vitro fertilization (IVF). This was complicated by prerenal oliguria due to indomethacin therapy and liver dysfunction. The pathogenetic mechanisms involved are discussed.
