[Cytodiagnostic fine needle aspiration of extracranial meningiomas developing on the edge of the neck. Description of two cases].

The authors provide brief clinical data and cytologic description of two extracranial meningiomas presenting as a cervical mass. Regardless of the rarity of the meningiomas in the neck region, using morphological criteria described in this article it is possible to diagnose preoperatively such a tumor by aspiration cytology.
