Abstract
- A central critique of the cancer stem cell (CSC) hypothesis involves the robustness of CSC markers. Zorniak and colleagues suggest that different progenitor marker profiles can classify CSCs, and improved modeling of cellular hierarchies can be achieved by incorporating inter- and intratumoral diversity.<br /> (©2012 AACR.)
