Abstract
- A catalytic asymmetric synthesis of (S)-(-)-zearalenone is reported using asymmetric allylic alkylation for the introduction of the stereocenter. (S)-(-)-Zearalenone turned out to be a novel lipoxygenase inhibitor.<br /> (Copyright © 2013 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.)
