Abstract: A case of poor prognosis metastatic trophoblastic disease resistant to chemotherapy with methotrexate, dactinomycin, and cyclophosphamide is presented. The patient responded promptly to etoposide-based combination chemotherapy and has remained in complete remission since completion of therapy.
