Abstract

A NaYF4 host matrix with a new cubic phase is fabricated to offer high upconversion luminescence efficiency. The new cubic phase is formed through a hexagonal-to-cubic phase transition by shining intense near-infrared light on lanthanide-doped hexagonal NaYF4 materials.<br /> (© 2015 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
