Abstract
- Bartonella quintana is a facultative intracellular bacteria responsible of negative blood culture endocarditis whose diagnosis is often delayed. The occurrence of renal involvement has been exceptionally described in this context. We report the case of a 54-year-old man presenting with Bartonella quintana endocarditis complicated by proliferative glomerulonephritis with acute kidney injury and erythroblastopenia.<br /> (Copyright © 2015 Association Société de néphrologie.
