Abstract
- Posterior tibial tendon transfer has been described to reduce and balance the cavovarus deformity in those patients who receive a total ankle replacement for end-stage arthritis. In this article, we discuss the indications and provide a detailed description of the technique for this powerful procedure. Case examples that demonstrate the utility of the procedure are provided.<br /> (Copyright © 2016 American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Published by Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.)
