Abstract
- Although early device embolization is a well-known complication of percutaneous atrial septal defect (ASD) closure, late device embolization is rarely encountered and information about management of it are very limited. Herein, we reported a case of late ASD device embolization into the abdominal aorta at the level of the superior mesenteric artery, 8 months after percutaneous closure.<br /> (Copyright © 2015 Cardiological Society of India.
