Abstract
- A protective association between rotavirus vaccination and childhood seizures in the year after vaccination was recently reported from the United States. In the state of Queensland, Australia, the authors found that rotavirus vaccine was 35.8% and 38.0% effective at preventing emergency department presentation and subsequent hospitalization, respectively, for febrile seizures among children up to two years following vaccination.<br /> (© The Author 2014.
