Abstract
- During the past 15 years, 8 squamous cell carcinoma in situ and 21 invasive squamous cell carcinoma were treated in our department. Squamous cell carcinoma in situ was adequately treated by either wide local excision or CO2 laser vaporization. Radical vulvectomy was the main treatment modality in our department. Older patients tolerated well the surgery and had better outcome than those treated with radiotherapy alone. Histologically proven groin node metastasis was the risk factor to be overcome.
