Abstract

Blood-based biomarkers tests are attractive alternative for diagnosing tuberculosis to assays depending on mycobacteria detection. Given several immunological markers we used logistic regression to model the probability of active tuberculosis in a cohort of patients with active or latent tuberculosis, showing an increased accuracy in distinguishing active from latent tuberculosis.<br /> (Copyright © 2016 Elsevier Inc.
