Abstract

Optimization of the management of rotator cuff tears is still needed. Preoperative patient selection, perioperative surgical techniques, and postoperative care are all important topics that are studied extensively. This commentary will examine the current situation and important fields of interest for future research. Postoperative pain management is scrutinized in relation to the level of abduction using an abduction brace.<br /> (Copyright © 2019 Arthroscopy Association of North America.
