Abstract
- Competing Interests: Competing interests: Seija Kromm and Deborah McNeil are employees of Alberta Health Services (AHS). David Johnson is remunerated through a contract with AHS. The Merck for Mothers global funding grant is a Merck initiative to reduce maternal mortality; Merck had no role in deciding how the MNCY SCN allocated the funds from that grant support. No other competing interests were declared.
