Abstract
- In the last decade, intervertebral disc (IVD) decellularization has gained significant attention for tissue regenerative purposes as a successful therapeutic alternative for low back pain (LBP). We discuss the recent advances in IVD decellularization, repopulation, and sterilization procedures, highlighting the major challenges that need to be addressed for clinical translation.<br /> (Copyright © 2020 Elsevier Ltd.
