Abstract
- We report a hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS) case due to Stx2f-producing E. coli illustrating the diagnostic difficulty of this Shiga-toxin subtype. Clinicians should be aware of limits of certain rapid molecular panels that are increasingly being used and may play a role in underestimating the global burden of such infections.<br /> (Copyright © 2020 Elsevier Inc.
