Abstract: Major gynaecological oncology surgery can be complex and extensive, with correspondingly high requirements for postoperative analgesia. Multiple options are available including intravenous, neuraxial and regional techniques. This article discusses the pros and cons of different anaesthetic modalities for postoperative analgesia.
