Abstract

Current techniques for imaging prostate cancer (CT, MRI, and PET agents <superscript>18</superscript> F-fluorodeoxyglucose, <superscript>11</superscript> C-choline, <superscript>11</superscript> C-acetate, and <superscript>18</superscript> F-fluciclovine) are limited in sensitivity and specificity. PSMA PET agent <superscript>68</superscript> Ga-PSMA-11 has recently been approved by the FDA. We comment on the performance of novel PSMA agent 18F-DCFPyL-PET/CT.
