Abstract

We present the case of a 22-year-old male that comes to the Urology clinic with the incidental finding of a testicular mass. Typical findings in echography will guide us towards the diagnosis of an epidermoid cyst. <superscript>1</superscript> <superscript>,</superscript> <superscript>2</superscript> This type of infrequent benign tumor is responsible for only around 2% of all testicular tumors. <superscript>1</superscript> Because of this low incidence literature regarding epidermoid cysts is scarce. Treatment has been susceptible to change throughout the years. <superscript>6</superscript> In this clinical case we challenge readers to review a rare tumor and to choose the most appropriate treatment for our patient.<br /> (Copyright © 2021 Elsevier Inc.
