Abstract
- The wash out behavior of focal liver lesions in contrast-enhanced ultrasound plays a central role in tumor classification. Besides hepatocellular carcinomas, other hypervascular tumor entities like renal cell carcinomas may also show a very late wash out, possibly caused by portal-venous tumor vessels. There is need to observe long enough in the late phase in order to classify them correctly.<br /> (© 2023 Wiley Periodicals LLC.)
