[Electroencephalographic characteristics of intellectual activity in astheno-adynamic subdepressions].

While performing associative verbal and arithmetic tasks patients with atypical subclinical astheno-adynamic subdepression with the predominance of asthenia-like thought disturbances presented characteristic disorders of reactive changes in several EEG factors. They appear to reflect non-reactivity and functional dissociation of the processes of activation, hyperactivity of the processes of cortical excitation, general blending of interzonal differences, elevated reactivity of the right hemisphere and parietal lobes of the brain.
