Abstract
- The purpose of this article is to highlight an innovative technique in the surgical management of aortic aneurysms in the presence of a horseshoe kidney. The technique involves an anterograde aortic bypass from the distal thoracic aorta to the major renal artery with the primary advantage to a significant reduction in renal ischemia time.<br />Competing Interests: Declaration of Conflicting InterestsThe author(s) declared no potential conflicts of interest with respect to the research, authorship, and/or publication of this article.
