Abstract

A practical carbon dioxide (CO <subscript>2</subscript> ) conversion and utilization system shows great potential for ameliorating the greenhouse effect. Herein, an integrated carbon aerogel-based photothermal catalysis microreactor with photothermal conversion, enhanced mass transfer adsorption and a thermal catalytic reactor is designed. As a solar-powered CO <subscript>2</subscript> utilization module, this microreactor can conveniently convert CO <subscript>2</subscript> into economically valuable products without elaborate equipment and operation processes.
