Abstract
- IgE is induced by the presence of IL-4 by class switching from IgM through IgG1 to IgE. IL-21 inhibits the IgE class switch by induction of Blimp1 leading to Stat6 and AID downregulation, and plasmablast/plasma cell differentiation.<br /> (© 2024 The Author(s).
