Abstract
- Competing Interests: Funding Support and Author Disclosures Dr Pibarot has received institutional funding from Edwards Lifesciences, Medtronic, Pi-Cardia, and Cardiac Success for echocardiography core laboratory analyses and research studies in the field of interventional and pharmacologic treatment of valvular heart diseases, for which he received no personal compensation. Dr Clavel has received institutional funding from Edwards Lifesciences and Medtronic for computed tomography core laboratory analyses and research studies in the field of interventional and pharmacologic treatment of valvular heart diseases. Dr Pibarot holds the Canada Research Chair on Valvular Heart Diseases, and Dr Clavel holds the Canada Research Chair in Women’s Valvular Health, which are both funded by Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
