Abstract
- We describe the case of a 55-year-old patient with cardiogenic shock postsurgical mitral valve replacement, because of a native aortic valve paravalvular leak due to surgical trauma. The patient was successfully treated with a muscular ventricular septum defect device. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report describing percutaneous device treatment of a native aortic valve paravalvular leak.<br /> (© 2024 Wiley Periodicals LLC.)
