Abstract
- Lung cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease share common risk factors and the same pathophysiological mechanisms, which are a common comorbidities and interact with each other. At present, there is no universal standard for diagnosis and treatments, and these patients have a poor prognosis. Pulmonary function detection and regular low-dose spiral CT can improve the diagnosis rate of the comorbid disease. The principle of "co-morbidities, co-treatment of cancer and lung disease" should be fully considered in the process of diagnosis and treatment.
