[Action of cyclophosphane on the formation of hemagglutinins and of nonspecific immunoglobulins in a microbe-free state].

Abstract: A total of 39 germ-free and 28 conventional germ-free Fisher rats were used to study cyclophosphamide-induced specific (hemagglutinins) and nonspecific (IgG2) immunosuppression. Most pronounced effect of the drug was observed in germ-free animals. 180 mg/kg of cyclophosphamide completely suppressed hemagglutinin formation for at least 8 weeks.
