Abstract
- This paper deals with nocardiosis with brain abscess in a cynomolgus monkey imported from Indonesia. At necropsy, typical abscesses were found in the mandible, lung, kidney, heart, liver, and brain. Nocardia asteroides was isolated as the causative agent. The lesions in the kidney, heart, and brain were considered to be secondary metastases.
