Abstract
- Benign tumors in the renal pelvis are unique and rarely reported. We report a case of a benign polyp in the renal pelvis. A 68-year-old woman presented with a mass in the right renal sinus and underwent right nephrectomy. Histological investigations of the tumor revealed a polypoid angiofibromatous lesion of the renal pelvis which was benign in nature. Final pathological diagnosis was a benign fibroepithelial polyp.
