Abstract: A case of necrotizing granulomatous vasculitis limited to the gallbladder and manifesting as acute cholecystitis is presented. The different types of vasculitis are discussed and the characteristics of necrotizing granulomatous vasculitis (allergic granulomatosis) are described.
