Abstract
- The effects of dioxycol and low-frequency ultrasound alone and in combinations on the microflora of suppurative wounds formed after opening of maxillofacial phlegmons are assessed in 142 patients. Clinical and laboratory findings indicate a higher efficacy of combined use of these treatment modalities, which are recommended for optimal local treatment of purulent maxillofacial wounds.
