Abstract

The article reports on the request of Michael Devine, a former Adobe Systems engineer, for a larger cut in the $415 million proposed settlement in the class action suit against technology companies. The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, rejected Devine's requested payout of $160,000, which would give him twice the payout for the other four named plaintiffs. Workers alleged companies including Google Inc., Apple, and Intel for conspiracy to prevent poaching of staff.
