Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension in the Southern Hemisphere.

The article characterizes pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) patients from Brazil. Topics discussed include the survival rates for the PAH subjects, a comparison between the prognosis for PAH and for connective tissue disease (CTD) patients and the common causes of PAH among the subjects.
