Excellent talent cultivation for transportation specialty in colleges and universities provided an opportunity for the reform of engineering education. The cultivating mode of transportation specialty excellent talent in Nantong University is researched and practiced by the connotation construction of discipline, the reform and innovation of talent cultivating mode, the construction of transportation industry resources e-learning platform, the exploitation of high quality experimental projects and the enhancement of social service ability in order to improve the quality of personnel training.
