Abstract

The author offers information on the need of policymakers to analyze the world in policymaking with methodologies that do not mask the fundamental disagreement within the community. He presents a graph showing a survey conducted among ocean science experts regarding the shutdown of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation as a result of global warming. He mentions that a decision maker should consider the reasoning of an underlying opinion.
