Prevention of nephritis in Henoch- Schönlein purpura.

The article presents a case study of a 6-year-old boy who was presented with a 24-hour history of purpuric rash on both of his legs with swelling and ankle pain. The patient had no abdominal pain and examination found a normal urinalysis and normal blood pressure for his age. Diagnosis of Henoch- Schönlein purpura (HSP) was made and was admitted for pain relief provided he was unable to weight bear.
