Abstract
- The article discusses the political developments concerning federal judicial appointments in the U.S. as of February 2015. According to Cato Institute's Center for Constitutional Studies' Roger Pilon, the team of U.S. President Barack Obama should negotiate with the Republican majority in the Senate to ensure that Obama's nominees will be confirmed. It cites as example the 2012 case in Georgia, in which Obama's nominee Jill Pryor was blocked by state Senators Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Isakson.
