Abstract

The article discusses research which investigated how three contact efforts influence running performance of athletes during small-sided rugby league games. Topics explored include the recruitment and physical evaluation of study participants, the way repeated high-intensity effort (RHIE) can affect physical performance of athletes, and the statistical analyses of data gathered such as relative distance, low-speed activity, and moderate speed running.
