- The author reflects on the impact of the budget caps in the Budget Control Act for fiscal 2016 on defense contractors. Topics discussed include challenges for heritage defense companies to navigate, compromises on non-defense discretionary spending, taxes and entitlements in the U.S. federal budget, and a report from the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) regarding fiscal 2015 investment outlays in defense companies.
