Abstract
- The article focuses on the establishment of datacenters by international companies in India due to the growth of the smartphone industry and the commitment of the government to go digital as of 2015. The plans of multinational technology and consulting firm International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) and computer software firm Microsoft Corp. to establish datacenters in the country are discussed. Comments from Microsoft India general manager of marketing and operators Tyler Bryson are provided.
