Abstract

The article presents the author's insights on the history of metaphysics in relation to the problem of truth and justice, as derived from philosopher Martin Heidegger's interpretation of the works of philosopher Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche. Topics discussed include Heidegger's lectures which account Nietzsche's Cartesianism, the importance of justice in rethinking the essence of truth within the history of Being, and modernity's nihilism in its disjunction between human beings and Being.
