Abstract

In order to cope with the problem of rain attenuation of relay satellites in manned space flight mission, this paper analyzes the rain attenuation performances of the three relay satellites which are involved in Tianlian series and operate in Ka band. Then influences of rain attenuation of relay satellites on manned space flight mission are discussed. Considering the environmental conditions, the objective constraints and the characteristics of China manned space flight mission, this paper proposes an implementation plan of flight control to deal with the rain attenuation of relay satellites in hope of providing reference for future manned space flight missions.
