Abstract

Electrical impedance tomography is a functional reconstruction technique for detection inside the human body. Considering the anisotropic physiological characteristics, we apply a generalized back projection algorithm to a 2-D simulation model. To solve the anisotropic inverse problem, we design an excitation calibration configuration to amend voltage data. The imaging results reconstructed by the new method in 2-D model show good quality assessed by several quantitative metrics. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
