Transition-Metal-Free Trifluoromethylthiolation of N-Heteroarenes.

A general and efficient methodology for the direct transition metal free trifluoromethylthiolation of a broad range of biologically relevant N-heteroarenes is reported employing abundant sodium chloride as the catalyst.
