Abstract

The article focuses on the issue of cover advertising being practiced by magazines in the U.S. It highlights the regulations of consumer magazine group American Society of Magazine Editors and the Association of Business Information & Media Companies (ABM) concerning cover advertising. The percentage of magazines that have used cover advertising, according to media research firm MediaRadar, is noted. Examples of magazines that has used cover advertising are included.
