THE PROBLEMS FACING RENEWABLE ENERGY USE IN RURAL CHINA.

Three main ways of how renewable energy is currently used in rural China are described in detail: biomass energy, solar energy and small hydro-power. The difficulties faced in their promotion are analyzed, such as lack of policy, lack of technical personnel, single financing channels and inadequate research efforts.
